Day 1: Dehradun to Kedarnath (Drive + Trek)

Your expedition begins with an early morning departure from Dehradun. The scenic drive takes you through the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas, passing through Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Rudraprayag before reaching Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, a short trek brings you to the sacred town of Kedarnath, where you spend the first night.

Day 2: Kedarnath to Rudu Valley Base Camp

Day 3: Acclimatisation & Technical Training at Base Camp

A full day dedicated to acclimatisation and skill-building. Our climbing guides conduct comprehensive training covering rope handling, crampon techniques, ice axe arrest, and safety protocols for the summit push. An acclimatisation walk to a nearby ridge helps your body adjust to the altitude.

Day 4: Base Camp to Advance Base Camp (ABC)

Day 5: ABC to Summit Camp (High Camp)

A short but steep climb takes us to Summit Camp (High Camp) at 5,200 m. The route involves scrambling over rocky terrain and traversing snow patches. At this altitude, every step requires deliberate effort. We rest early, hydrate well, and prepare mentally for the early morning summit push.

Day 6: Summit Push — Rudugaira Peak (5,800 m) & Descent to ABC
- Duration: 10–12 hours (summit + descent)

The most challenging and rewarding day. We wake at 2:00 AM and begin the summit push by headlamp. The route involves climbing a glacial face with sections of up to 35–40 degrees. After approximately 5–6 hours of climbing, we reach the summit of Rudugaira Peak (5,800 m). The 360-degree panorama includes the Bhagirathi group, Thalay Sagar, Meru, Shivling, and on a clear day, even Nanda Devi in the distance. After celebrating the summit, we descend carefully to ABC.

Day 7: ABC to Kedarnath

Day 8: Kedarnath to Dehradun (Drive)

After an early morning breakfast, we trek down to Gaurikund and drive back to Dehradun. We stop at Rishikesh for a well-deserved lunch by the Ganges. The expedition concludes on arrival in Dehradun by evening.

Before the Expedition:
